The HTS/HTD series of temperature and humidity sensors are equipped with a capacitive relative humidity sensor and a standard band gap temperature sensor. The capacitive relative humidity sensor is made of polymer film capacitors. When the environmental humidity changes, the dielectric constant of the film capacitor changes, and its capacitance also changes. The capacitance change is proportional to the relative humidity.
